The State Bar of Wisconsin’s Business Law Blog recently published an article authored by Meissner Tierney shareholder Randy Brotherhood entitled “The EU’s New General Data Protection Regulation: Implications for U.S. Businesses.”

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a European Union regulation which provides privacy and data protection for individuals within the European Economic Area. Randy’s article examines key concepts of the GDPR, including its application and impact on businesses and other enterprises outside of the EU, as well as considerations and recommendations for developing a GDPR compliance game plan.
