Meissner Tierney President and Shareholder, Tom Nichols, was invited to give the business owner perspective in a presentation on Capitol Hill being put on by a business-oriented Washington think tank. The panel is entitled “The Tax Code as a Barrier to Entrepreneurship.”

As we prepare for the first major tax code overhaul in decades, members of the panel will offer insight on how certain features of the current U.S. tax code create disadvantages for new businesses and entrepreneurs and what new business tax policies can be crafted to encourage entrepreneurship.

The panel discussion will be hosted on Monday, May 15th at 12 p.m. in Room 2020 of the Rayburn House Office Building in Washington D.C. To register please visit thetaxfoundation.org.
