Shareholder Michael Cohen recently co-authored an article for the Wisconsin Defense Counsel’s Wisconsin Civil Trial Journal, Summer 2019 Edition titled, “A Perilous Decision: Steadfast Explains an Insurer’s Duty to Defend in the Multi-Insurer Context (and the Damages Available Against a Breaching Insurer).”

The article examines the Wisconsin Supreme Court’s decision on the recent case of Steadfast Ins. Co. v. Greenwich Ins. Co., a case that Michael argued on behalf of the Appellant, further clarified Wisconsin’s legal landscape regarding an insurer’s duty to defend in the context of multiple insurers defending the same mutual insured.
