Meissner Tierney’s Pam Tillman recently co-authored the Wisconsin chapter for the Defense Research Institute’s Insurance Bad Faith: A Compendium of State Law. Compendium authors were selected based upon their breadth and depth of experience and knowledge in defending against bad faith actions.

The recently published Compendium addresses the latest developments on topics including theories of liability, damages, whether lack of coverage is a viable defense, whether the plaintiff can proceed against the insurer if it does not prevail in the underlying action, procedural issues including stays and severing claims, and an insurer’s defenses, for each of the 50 states, as well as the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, and Canada.

The Compendium is an indispensable part of every coverage library. To read the Wisconsin chapter please click here.

Pam focuses her practice on insurance coverage issues, commercial litigation, mortgage lending disputes, employment disputes and health care liability. You can read Pam’s full bio by clicking here.
