Scott W. Brunner maintains a comprehensive transactional, real estate, and general corporate legal practice. He serves the diverse business needs of clients, notably by drafting transactional and organizational documents and guiding clients as they structure terms and arrangements in contract negotiations.

Scott’s areas of expertise include commercial and residential real estate leasing and sale transactions; securities offerings and other securities matters (including federal and state crowdfunding, Regulation A, and Regulation D); corporate organizational matters; business entity selection; corporate policies and procedures; and various other legal matters concerning the purchase and sale of real estate and businesses.

Scott’s published works and speakerships have included business-focused real estate, environmental, and securities topics. He has also been at the ground-floor of the new federal and state equity crowdfunding laws, and is co-authoring a new chapter on the topic for the State Bar of Wisconsin.

Prior to joining Meissner Tierney, Scott served as a judicial intern to the Hon. Rudolph T. Randa of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin and contributed to the research of Dean Joseph D. Kearney and Associate Dean Matthew Parlow of Marquette Law School.  He was also the Managing Editor of the Marquette Law Review.
